Care & Maintenance

🌿 Wood Care

To keep your instrument in beautiful condition, we recommend waxing the wood once a year with a high-quality natural furniture wax.

This helps protect the timber, nourishes the wood, and maintains its natural lustre.

Avoid placing the instrument in direct sunlight, near heaters, air conditioners, or in areas with significant humidity fluctuations, as these conditions can affect both the wood and the tuning stability.

🎶 String Replacement & Settling Period

When a new string is installed, it requires a settling-in period.

During the first week, the instrument should be played regularly and tuned frequently, as the new string will naturally stretch and adjust to the tension.

This is a normal process for all stringed instruments.

As the string settles, tuning stability gradually improves until it holds its pitch consistently.
